The System

The basics of the air conditioner and indoor coil you are measuring.

System size (tonnage)How many tons the system is rated for. A '3 ton' unit means 3.

Condenser modelThe model number on the outdoor unit's rating plate.

Metering typeHow refrigerant is metered into the coil.

The Blower

The fan that moves air through the system. This affects how airflow is calculated.

Blower locationIs the blower in a furnace or a standalone air handler?Blower / furnace modelThe model number of the furnace or air handler.

Speed tapIf it's a multi-speed blower, which tap the cooling speed is wired to.

ECM profileIf it's a variable-speed (ECM) motor, the airflow profile or CFM setting.

Rated Efficiency

The manufacturer's lab ratings. The app uses these as a reference and a sanity check, then shows your real measured performance against them.

Automation

Let Elevate act on the thermostat to keep the home comfortable and dodge peak-hour costs. These run automatically in the background around the clock — even when the app is closed. Everything is OFF by default — turn on only what this home is enrolled in. When connected, Elevate adjusts automatically; without a thermostat connection these become recommendations only.

Filter Health Baseline

Capture this system's static-pressure baseline so the homeowner's Filter Health gauge can track filter load. Remove the filter for the first reading, install a fresh one for the second. Every future filter change re-runs this, which also builds a long-term evaporator-coil fouling baseline.

We'll capture two quick readings to learn this system's baseline. This isolates the filter's own restriction, so it works on any ductwork.
